Eyewitnesses filmed a video of the crash of the Boeing 737 Ukraine International Airlines liner in the sky over Tehran. The footage distributed by major Iranian media, in particular the IRIB television and radio company, shows how the plane lights up and crashes immediately after takeoff, after which an explosion occurs.
The accident killed 167 passengers and nine crew members. According to the preliminary version , the cause of the accident could be a fire in the engine.
