Do you want to become a CEO of a Fortune 500 company for a month? Adecco’s “CEO for One Month” program gives young people the opportunity to accompany the CEO of the Adecco group in their home country, helping them to contact the job market and leadership.
Candidates must have higher education in the areas of management, economics, finance or engineering , “analytical sense and organizational skills, willingness to learn, good communicative skills, fluency in English, empathy, ambition, critical spirit and charisma”, says the group in a statement. Winners at the local level move on to the bootcamp phase, where only one of 47 will be chosen as global CEO for a month and begin their journey with Alain Dehaze, Adecco’s executive director.
Once you complete the application form, a selection process will take place within each country according to local market conditions. This may include interviews, local bootcamps and further tests and assessments to evaluate candidates.
Besides the opportunity to shadow the CEO of the Adecco Group, a Fortune 500 company, the winner will also get a monthly salary (EUR 15,000).
This program aims to help young people “develop and experience their leadership potential, to learn and to acquire the skills and experiences necessary to start a leadership career ”, Adecco said in a statement.
The top 10 Country ‘CEOs for One Month’ will be invited to join a Global Bootcamp where they will be assessed through various individual and team challenges. At the end of the bootcamp one local CEO of the month will be selected to become the Adecco Group global ‘CEO for One Month’. The Adecco Group global ‘CEO for One Month’ will be announced on August 24, 2020.
