Cyberpunk 2077 delayed to September 17, 2020


The release of Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed, according to the CD Projekt RED developer Twitter page .

The release was postponed to September 17, 2020. The developers claim that testing the game will take a little more time. They also added in the post that they strive to make Cyberpunk 2077 the main achievement of the generation, so they want to make it perfect.

In June 2019, actor Keanu Reeves announced, during the Xbox’s E3 2019 press conference, the release date of the game Cyberpunk 2077. Initially, the release of the project was scheduled for April 16, 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the next game from the CD Projekt Red studio, which created the Witcher series of games based on the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. It was announced in 2012 and is based on the Mike Pondsmith board game Cyberpunk 2020 and his many books on the fictional world of Cyberpunk.
