A sudden check of combat readiness began in Belarus

According to local media in Belarus, a sudden check of the combat readiness of the army has started. The instruction was given by the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko, the Ministry of Defense of the country reported.

On some roads, the movement of vehicles was temporarily restricted for the movement of military equipment and troops.

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus noted the complex nature of these activities. The armed forces of the country must quickly advance to the necessary areas in order to equip engineering communications, set up guards and build bridges across the Berezina and Neman rivers.

Earlier, the first deputy defense minister of the republic, Viktor Gulevich, expressed concern about the state of the country’s southern border with Ukraine.
