Report titled “Russia/Israel/Georgia/Mexico – defense deals and swaps” released in 2012 on Wikileaks.org talks about a swap between Russia and Israel.
Now, after the UIA Boeing 737 crash this story gets under the spotlight. The report in question talks about a Mexican arms dealer and it comes from the Email account of a private geopolitical intelligence platform Stratfor and their Vice President of Global Analysis,Reva Bhalla.
Stratfor describe themselves as-“the world’s leading geopolitical intelligence platform, Stratfor brings global events into valuable perspective, empowering businesses, governments and individuals…”
Acording to Wikileaks, Stratfor -“provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations, such as Bhopal’s Dow Chemical Co., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and government agencies,
An employee of Stratfor wrote this report,which is dated February 2009, and cited a “Mexican source.”
This Email is located in the batch of files called “The Global Intelligence Files” that contains 5 million files.
The most interesting parts for us at this point is related to Russia-Israel deal.
“Idra (private mexican company) had an offer to sell UAVs to Georgia (this was happening during and after the war). The reason Georgia needed the UAVs is because the UAVs they had bought from Israel had been compromised by the Russians. The Russians got the data link for the UAV. I inquired more about the compromised Israeli UAVs. What he explained was that Israel and Russia made a swap — Israel gave Russia the ‘data link’ code for those specific UAVs; in return, Russia gave Israel the codes for Iran’s Tor-M1s.”- Reva said in this mail, and she continues from there, talking about the UAVs hacked by Russians-“He inquired and basically what happened was that the Russians acquired the data link to hack into the system and force the UAV into the ground. I think they may have crashed another one too. So, since the Georgian UAVs were compromised, they then tried to sell them to the Azerbaijanis.”-she added.
